My parents recently bought a house. It was move-in ready but really with no personality. I made it my job to spruce up the interior by doing small projects one by one until the house is functional and homely. As I took on each project, I found that it took lots of trial and error and spontaneous learning. This project involved learning how to use a 3D modeling program called SketchUp.

My finished model.

Model in the environment (3D model of my parents' dining room).

A simple animation of the cabinets' exterior. Would be cool to include an animation of the build happening through each layer.

The interior of the cabinets.

I've made sure to indicate where all the pocket holes and nail holes should go in the 3D model. This will make building easier when I come back and refer to the model or image.
